Hey,

I need help solving these math problems, for the most part I need to figure out which substitions to make so that my integrals will fit into the given formula.

1. ?arcsin(?x)dx
2. ?x^3?(4x^2-x^4)dx
3. ?(e^t ) sin(at-3)dt

For those who don't know, itegration by tables is a method used following a series of patterns. It doesn't matter what pattern I use, so long as I use one. Don't bother showing me how to solve a problem using trig subs or something of that nature, because I have already found those out and the professor says that those answers will not be accepted.

Thanks for your time,
Swift

Unfortunately, since we don't know what "patterns" you have on your table, there is little way for us to help. Sorry!

I'm staggered, though, that your instructor will not accept thought-out answers, and will only accept answers copied from a chart!

Eliz.
