Hi everyone! Have this scatterplot i’m trying to interpret, i’ve calculated the correlation coefficient to be -0.04. Just thrown by the fact that its not positive or negative but seams to have a strong relationship. How would you describe this??
Describe it as "Three outliers are masking what may be a strong linear correlation." Unfortunately, after removing the three outliers, the scale of your chart will change and the linear correlation may not LOOK so obvious.
