Maybe its that Im stupid but this exercise has been on my mind for a long time. After much effort I am giving in into the geniuses of Freemathhelp. Is it even possible to factor this equation by grouping? And If so, how the **** did you do it!? 4x^2-12xy-7x-21y

Hint: 12/4 = 21/7

You're definitely not stupid -this is not factorable. Did you check that the signs you wrote here are correct? That could change things quite a bit
