Issues Struggling for Variables (previous thread not working)

I basically have issues solving for variables when they are above and below the denominator. Here are a few examples of what I am referring to. Any help would be appreciated!
I would say I am having problems with most of them specially 17. Any help, examples, advise on what to work on or references would be appreciated.
