Hi I need some help with some problems. I do not know wheter the problem has one or two solutions.
The problem is solve each triangle ABC. Angle B= 36 degrees, a= 10, b=8.
My teacher taught us this approach:
b >/= a ,means that there is 1 solution
b = a sin B , means 1 solution
b < a Sin B, means no solution
a Sin B < a<b, means 2 solutions
In this problem a SIn B = 5.88 but the 1st and 4th statements are both true. So how would I know if there is 1 or 2 solutions?
