Hi! I'm having a tough time with this problem, and I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out.

lim θ→0 cos(7θ) tan(7θ) /θ

You seem to be stuck on trigonometry. Redefine tangent into its sine and cosine pieces. That will almost solve it.

Do you know that \(\mathop {\lim }\limits_{\theta \to 0} \dfrac{{\sin (\theta )}}{\theta }=1~?\)

If you do then \(\mathop {\lim }\limits_{\theta \to 0} \dfrac{{\sin (7\theta )}}{\theta }=\mathop {\lim }\limits_{\theta \to 0} \dfrac{7{\sin (7\theta )}}{7\theta }=~?\)

Hey, sorry for wasting your time. I figured it out a couple of mins after posting. Something about asking for help that makes it suddenly seem simple lol
