I am having problems with the following problem.

Year CO2 (ppm)
2000 364
2050 467
2100 600
2150 769
2200 987

Let x be in years, where x=0 corresponds to 2000, x=1 for 2001 and so on. Find values for C and a so that f(x) = Ca^x models the data.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try semi-log graph → ln(CO2) = x * ln(a) + ln(c)

I assume you need to find the best fit line.
