I really need help here. I am lost. Can anyone help me?

Rewrite each of the following as an equivelant logarithmic equation. Do not solve.

y^t= x

Express as an equivelant expression that is a sum of logarithms.

Logt(3ab)

For the first problem, use the definition of a logarithm:

if a[sup:k6cft0b7]x[/sup:k6cft0b7] = b, then log[sub:k6cft0b7]a[/sub:k6cft0b7] b = x.

So, if y[sup:k6cft0b7]t[/sup:k6cft0b7] = x, then......

For the second problem, use one of the rules of logs....

log[sub:k6cft0b7]b[/sub:k6cft0b7] mn = log[sub:k6cft0b7]b[/sub:k6cft0b7] m + log[sub:k6cft0b7]b[/sub:k6cft0b7] n
