I looked up what the symbol that the arrow is pointing to and learned that xy means y is provable from x. That sounds to me that is saying x implies y. Am I correct? Can someone please give me a good example so I understand this. I need to help someone with it in about 2 hours. Thanks!

If A implies B is true
1) If A is False or
2) If A and B are both true

Do I have this correct? A |- B is true only when When A is true then B is true?

I just realized that I also need to know what A |= B means.
I looked up the definitions online but they just aren't clear to me
