Maps Inches/Miles Help!

Hi,
The question is :
"On a Map 1 Inch = 100 Miles. what length represents 650 miles?"

How do I figure this out?

Hint: If 100 apples cost $1 (giant sale!!), how much for 650 apples?
 


Another way to think about it:

How many 100-mile sections make up a 650-mile length ?

That's the number of inches, on the map, because each 100-mile section (or fraction thereof) is represented by one inch (or relative-fraction of one inch).
