Seriously, math and words should not go together. Ever. What they heck does this want from me????

If f and g are functions of time and, at t = 2, f = 4 and is rising at a rate of 6 units per second, and g = 7 and is rising at a rate of 8 units per second, then f / g = ___ and is changing at a rate of ____ units per second.

It says that f(2)=4, f'(2)=6, g(2)=7 and g'(2)=8

For f/g I can only assume that they mean at t=2, so f/g = 4/7

Likewise for the rate of change we get 6/8 or 3/4

I thought so and that is what i put. Maybe if I leave it as a fraction it will mark it correct... I'll try that.

EDIT: So yes they wanted it as a fraction and 4/7 worked. But 6/8 in every way I could think to enter it is not working. I hate these stupid things.
