math puzzle I can't solve

G + B = Y
R + G = P
Y - G = B
Y - P = R
P - R = G
then: R + G + B = 9
Find the value for Y

Can you help me? Thank you so much. Also, would you mind showing the steps you go through to come to the answer???

Given information:
G + B = Y **
R + G = P ***
Y - G = B **
Y - P = R
P - R = G ***
then: R + G + B = 9
Find the value for Y

** G + B = Y is same as Y - G = B
*** R + G = P is same as P - R = G

So we have only 4 equations:
G + B = Y
R + G = P
Y - P = R
R + G + B = 9

But we have 5 variables: G,B,Y,R,P

So any of the variables cannot be solved for; another equation required.
Are you SURE you posted the problem EXACTLY as it apprears
