Hi guys need a quick answer to this problem:

Yr 2 are going on a day trip to Lincoln Castle.
There are 60 children in the class and 8 staff will be attending. The entry fee to the castle is £8 per child and £5 per teacher. The coach is going to cost £250. Payment will be via ParentPay which incurs a fee of 0.02% of the value of each transaction. The cost is to be fully covered by parental contributions.

produce a document showing your calculations for the amount of parental contribution required for each child to fully cover the costs.
If you could show how you got to your answer guys that would be really helpful cheers.

8 staff will be attending … £8 per child and £5 per teacher. The coach [costs] £250. Payment … via ParentPay
Hi JR. You're saying that £250 is the entry fee for the coach, yes? Is the coach considered one of the 8 staff members (i.e., 1 coach and 7 teachers)? How many payment transactions will be made to ParentPay (for example, a single transaction for each child and a single transaction for each adult)?

Also, I'm not sure whether this is a homework exercise versus an administrative task. If it's homework, then please show us what you've tried or thought about so far. Cheers!

:)
