I'm struggling in how to figure this question out:

Basically I'll show you where I can get to:
44S^.25-S
11S^-.75-1=0
11S^-.75=1

I can't figure out how to solve for S.... I've tried it different ways and I'm still stuck. I know it's probably simple, but for right now, clueless.

S=24.463781

44(24.463781)^0.25 = 97.86
