How do you find the mean from a histogram with unequal class widths?

Please post a problem, along with the histogram and your work.

Treat each class as its midpoint, with the appropriate frequency, and find the mean. That is, multiply each midpoint by the frequency implied by the histogram, add and divide.

I could say more if I saw how your particular histogram is presented.
