G Guest Guest Aug 26, 2005 #2 use of prefixes.... milli means 1/1000 or ...x10^-3 so 1.54 x 10^-2 needs to be rewritten in the form of 15.4x 10^-3 which is then 15.4 milli litres or 15.4 mL Kilograms = 1000 grams or 1x 10^3 g does this help........
