Midpoints

Hello,

Doing homework and it ha been awhile.

Find the coordinates of B if M is the midpoint of AB
A(7,5) M(p,7)

A(-3,5) M(1,9)

The x distance is p-7
The y distance is 7-5 = 2
To extend the line to B, add those distances to M. That makes the first B(p+(p-7),7+2) = B(2p-7,9)
Do the same for the second
