:lol: well i figured out the first one (i didnt realize the answer was in one of the post on meh last topic thing...oh well...)

ne ways now i need help on a new problem:

2x^2-11x-21

 

[Gene]

2x^2-11x-21 =
(2x+a)(x+b) =
2x²+(a+2b)x+ab
so
a+2b=-11
ab=-21
The factors of -21 are
a*b
-1*21
21*-1
-3*7
7*-3
-7*3
3*-7
-21*1
1*-21
Try each of those in
a+2b=-11
and see which works.
