Water is pour into a conical funnel at a rate of 1 cm3 /s. The radius of the top of the funnel is 10 cm and the height of the funnel i8s 20 cm. Find the rate at which the water level is rising when it is 5 cm from the top of the funnel.

Rate In / (Surface Area)

Rate In = 1 cm<sup>3</sup>/sec
Surface Area is a little trickier, but not much.

x = radius 5 cm from the top
Radius / Height = (10 cm)/(20 cm) = 1/2 = x/(15 cm) ==> (15/2) cm

Surface Area = pi*(15/2)<sup>2</sup>
 
Can somebody please check my answer to this of 4/(225*pi) cm/s. (I won't show my working as the person who put the question up hasn't replied yet).
