Need help determining number of satellites in orbit.

Hello, sorry if i am wrong but i believe this goes here. I play this little mini game on a simulation game i play. And it has little puzzles, i get the other ones but this one stumps me. The problems usually go like this, "How many sattellites are in orbit around planet "planet" if sattelite 6 is directly opposite sattelite 18."

And sorry again if this is the wrong place.

It might help if you gave an example in which you used differential equations to solve one of these exercises.
