Need help with a box problem!!!

A box has rectangular sides and a rectangular top and base that are twice as long as they are wide. The volume of the box is 588 cubic inches, and the surface area of the outside of the box is 448 square inches. Find the dimensions of the box.

How do you do this? Anything helps :)

Could you PLEASE type the problem EXACTLY as it is worded in your assignment? "Edited versions" are often confusing...this one is confusing to me.

That was the exact wording of the problem. I'm sorry it's confusing but that's why I needed the help :p Oh and insert "has" between "box" and "rectangular" in the first sentence.
