What is a Moment-Generating Function? The definition will help you on your way.

1st Derivative, evaluated at t = 0 gives the 1st Moment, [math]E[x][/math]. This leads to the Mean.
2nd Derivative, evaluated at t = 0 gives the 2nd Moment, [math]E\left[x^{2}\right][/math]. With the previous result, this leads to the Variance.

Demonstrate and we can talk about part c.
