Okay so I'm a little stuck on a maths problem and can't figure it out (I've never been great at maths or using excel). I have this set of numbers - 0, 0, 0, 1, 3, 2, 5, 8, 9, 28, 20, 29, 39, 44, 50, 47, 37, 34, 36, 20, 10, 18, 10, 9, 8, 6, 5, 6, 2, 2, 4, 3, 1, 2, 2, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0. This was a survey of 500 people on fitness scores written into a table on excel. The answer I should be coming up with for the mean, median and standard deviation are as follows: Mean - 79.36, Median - 75, Standard Deviation: 26.56. However, I'm coming up with: Mean - 15.625, Median - 6, Standard Deviation - 15.4984. I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I'm using the excel formulas of =MEAN(E**:E**), =MEDIAN(E**:E**), =STDEVA(E**:E**)
Just to be clear. This is not a question on my assignment. But the I will need the method later on in my course. Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can figure out what I am dong wrong please?
