See how many boxes you can find that will hold two times as many cubes as a 2 by 3 by 4 box. What are the demensions.

What are the sizes of the cubes? What is the volume of the original box? Based on this information, what are your thoughts? What have you tried? How far have you gotten? Where are you stuck?

If the cubes completely fill the box then to hold twice as many cubes you will need twice the volume. Are the dimensions required to be integer? Since the dimensions of the first box are integers, it is impossible to have a box of twice the volume with integer sides. But depending on the size of the cubes, you may not be able to completely fill the box. What are the dimensions of the cubes?
