Organic ingredient percentage in cosmetic formula

Hi there,

Can someone please help me. I need to work out the percentage of organic ingredients in a cosmetic formula. The total weight of the ingredients is 320g.
The organic ingredients are > 1% to ≤ 5% and >0.1% to ≤ 1% of the total ingredients. The organic ingredients sit 3rd and 9th in the list of 15 ingredients.

So you have two different type of "organic ingredients", one of which is between 1% and 5% of the total ingredients, the other between 0.1% and 1% of the total ingredients?

The total weight is 320 grams so the first type of organic ingredients is between 0.01(320)= 3.20 grams and 0.05(320)= 16.0 grams. The second type is between 0.001(320)= 0.32 grams and 0.01(320)= 3.20 grams.

So the total weight of organic ingredients is between 3.20+ 0.32= 3.52 grams and 16.0+ 3.2= 19.2 grams.

The percentage of total organic ingredients in the 320 grams is between 3.52/320= 0.007875 or 7.875% and 19.2/320= 0.06 or 6%.
