Parallelogram OBCA has its sides determined by OA=a=(4,2,4) and OB=b=(3,1,4). a line is drawn from B perpendicular to side AC of the parallelogram to intersect AC at N. Determine the length of BN
i first find out the magnitude of a which is 6
then i find the angle between OB and OA which is the same as the angle between BC and CA. (11.3 degree)
then i use sin 11.3 = BN/magnitude of a
and i find out that a is 1.1766
I am not very sure if i should do it like this.thank you
