Perimeter and finding intergers

Find the length and the width of the given rectangle if the perimeter is 104
inches.
The length is 7y+6 and the width is 4y-9
I tried setting it as 7y+6*4y-9=104 and solving it that way but this has me stuck on any way I try to solve it. Please help!

Why are you multiplying the two expression??? L x W = Area, not perimeter.

What is the perimeter formula?
