Hello,
I came across the following sentence which is a bit unclear to me:
We can observe that [imath]e^{2 \pi j (\theta- i/2^n)}[/imath] is periodic in [imath]i[/imath] according to [imath]2^n[/imath]
Where here [imath]\theta \in [0,1], i \in \{0,...,2^n-1\}, n \in \mathbb{N}[/imath]
I know that Euler's function in the form [imath]e^{2\pi jx}[/imath] moves on the unit circle. But I am a bit confused about the "according to [imath]2^n[/imath]" in the statement from above, what does it mean?
