Have you seen \(\displaystyle \pi\) written in any other base than decimal or binary? Can you give us an example?In the movie Contact the plot depends on a long sequence of 1 and 0 appearing deep within Pi implying an intelligence predating the laws of math. Surely this a blooper because this sequence would only appear in base 10? Pi looks quite different written in other bases.
Of course the super-aliens might be so intelligent that they can manipulate pi so that some amazing sequence appears in every base. Ie an infinite number!Only by googling pi in base 6 for example. Sequence of 1 & 0 will appear in binary base!
