Hello Everyone!
The equation is a simple one but I don't understand the "why" of it.
5=9−2x
The way I tried to solve it was I first targetted the "9" and did a -9 on both sides, but according to the book, I should have done a -2x instead.
When I see an equation like above, I usually target the "free number" first before going for the x, so I'm confused.
