In basketball players score points by making free throws worth 1 point each,and field goals worth 2 points each and field goals worth 3 points each.a player scores 4 free throws,7 two-point field goals,and 2 three point field goals. write an evaluate an expression for the total number a player scores.

Since all of the values are given, there are no unknowns. So, the expression will simply show the multiplications and additions of the given numbers.

Evaluation is doing the arithmetic (using the Order of Operations).

For example, one dime is worth 10 cents, one nickel is worth 5 cents, and 1 quarter is worth 25 cents. I have 4 dimes, 3 nickels, and 2 quarters, in my pocket. Write and evaluate an expression for the total number of cents.

The expression: 4*10 + 3*5 + 2*25

The evaluation: 40 + 15 + 50 = 105

I have 105 cents, in my pocket.

Your exercise follows the same line of reasoning.
