If your main difficulty happens to be in understanding what they are asking for, the first problem,
appears to mean that you are to subtract the second expression, -4x + 8y, from the first, 8x - 3y. (The subtraction sign in parentheses is not entirely standard.) This could also be written as
(8x - 3y) - (-4x + 8y).
Does that look any more familiar?
In the first form, you can subtract each term of the second from the corresponding term of the first; in the second form you would distribution the negative and combine like terms.
But as you've been told, we need to see your work in order to know what specific help you need. We don't just give fully worked-out answers with no effort on your part.
