If you are stuck at the very beginning then I'd suggested transforming the right hand side to a fraction with the common denominator. Can you do this?

We don't complete homework exercises, at this forum. This is a tutoring web site. Did you read the lesson and work through the examples, at the link I'd provided. If I recall correctly, the third example is similar to your exercise.

At what step are you confused? Do you know how to get common denominators?
