\(\displaystyle \lim_{x\to1^-}f(x) \ = \ 2 \ and \ \lim_{x\to1^+}f(x) \ = \ 2, \ so \ \lim_{x\to1}f(x) \ = \ 2.\)

\(\displaystyle Second \ One:\)

\(\displaystyle \lim_{x\to1^-}f(x) \ = \ \frac{3}{2} \ and \ \lim_{x\to1^+}f(x) \ = \ 3, \ hence \ \lim_{x\to1}f(x) \ DNE.\)
