I haven't done algebra in a very long time, can anyone walk me through this problem?
Thanks

x^2-6x+11=2

Subtract the 2 over to the left-hand side. Then find factors of 9 that add up to -6. (If that doesn't make any sense to you, then you probably need to review this topic.)

Hint: If (x - 3)(x - 3) = 0, what can you say about x - 3? (What do factors have to be equal to, if you get zero when you multiply them?)
