How do you do this: "Identify the leading coefficiant, and classify the polynomial by degree and by terms" to "-3w + 7" and wind up with "(21t)3 - (3t)5 - (9t)2" ? I am so confused!
I would guess that this is a typo. The leading coefficient would be just a number, as would the degree; the terms would tell you "monomial", "binomial", "trinomial", etc.
The listed answer, "(21)3 - (3t)5 - (9t)2", not only makes no sense, but cannot be the "answer" to the listed question.
You might want to notify your instructor. If this is a new book (or a new edition of an older one), he might not know about this problem.
