It looks like they want you to actually make complete lists (at least for part a), and discover the fundamental counting principle for yourself as you do it.

If you have trouble either making lists or seeing how to do it without them, please tell us what you have learned that would be useful, and show us what you are able to do. Then we can help you where you are.

You have all the right answers but your equals signs seem to have a different meaning than I am used to seeing.
You say things like 2x4= 16 and 16x4=48? YOU know that 2x4=8 and 16x4=64 so why write what you did? Don't you go over your work to see if you made mistakes (and I am not referring to what I just pointed out)? How can you see if you are correct if your equals are not valid?
