Precalculus

According to the syllabus and such for your class at West High School in Salt Lake City, students are not to copy on their homework, and these "portfolio" projects are intended as opportunities for student growth. In particular:

"Students need to be aware that the written work they submit must be entirely their own.... tudents must work independently. Although group work can be educationally desirable in some situations, it is not appropriate for the portfolio.... All external sources quoted or used must be fully referenced with a bibliography and footnotes."

Before we do any of your assignment for you, should we first enquire of your instructor, Mr. McGuire, of the degree of "help" allowed? He would also be able to instruct you on how to document the "help" you obtained on this "external resource".

Thank you.

Hehe, well I don't actually go to this school, I just happened to find a online version of my IB portfolio project assigned to me at my school. The data and questions are the same but it doesn't say West High Mathematics or anything like that. So could you help me?

The syllabus and portfolio program appear to be the same, no matter the particular school in which it is being implemented.

Please post your work, and the tutors will be glad to provide feedback. Or else please provide contact information for your school, so that we may verify that our "help" would not be a violation, as we would hate to get you in trouble.

Thank you.

For #2, it seems that it is a sinusoidal function, but I don't know what it means by what assumptions I am making

For #4 the equation I got using SinReg tool is y =1.414 sin (0.117x + 1.682) + 5.919. (which is pretty to the data) but I don't know what to do for #3 as it tells you to find a function using your own knowledge
