Hello....can someone help me here?
The following data are the number of hours spend by a student who plays online games for a week. Solve for the mean , variance and standard deviation of the probability distribution table. Show its histogram

X0123456
P(X)0.050.10.20.30.20.10.05

The mean or the expected value is
[math]E(X)=\sum_{i=1}^6 x_i\Pr(X=x_i)[/math]
To compute the variance, first, find the second moment.
[math]E(X^2)=\sum_{i=1}^{6}x_i^2\Pr(X=x_i)\\[/math]
The variance is the second moment minus the first moment squared:
[math]Var(X)=E(X^2)-[E(X)]^2\\[/math]
Lastly, the standard deviation is the square root of the variance:
[math]SD(X)=\sqrt{Var(X)}[/math]

I finished solving it the mean is 3,the variance is 2.1 and the standard deviation is 1.45....how to do the histogram?

Google the term "Draw a histogrm" - and you will find many YouTube videos with lessons.

What part of the histogram are you not understanding. It is hard to help you without knowing what you don't understand.
