How many two digit numbers can you make, with numbers 1 through 9?

How many two digit numbers can you make, with numbers 1 through 9 - without repeating numbers (i.e. numbers like 11, 22, etc. must not be counted in)?

How many three digit numbers can you make, with numbers 1 through 9?

Getting some ideas??
