q1.PNGq0.PNGbait.PNGI wanted to see if I answered the two questions correctly and also I am stuck on the 3rd question. All I know is that you can use the addition rule.

Before anyone tell you if the 1st two are right can you tell us how you got the 1st one but you can't do the 3rd one?? Why do you think they are different? How did you do the 1st 2 problems?

\(\mathcal{P}(A\cup B)=\mathcal{P}(A)+\mathcal{P}( B)-\mathcal{P}(A\cap B)\)

If \(A~\&~B\) are independent then \(\mathcal{P}(A\cup B)=\mathcal{P}(A)+\mathcal{P}( B)-\mathcal{P}(A)\cdot \mathcal{P}(B)\)
