I have been wondering this question for a while, so yeah, I made this account literally just to ask
Assuming someone is playing lottery.
6 numbers are drawn from 55 numbers (from 1 to 55)
He has to select all 6 numbers correctly to receive the grand prize.
The numbers are not repetitive and do not have to be in correct order.
What are the chances of him:
A) Get exactly 2 out of 6 numbers correctly (4 wrongs). This is the core question tbh.
B) Did A 5 times in a row. Probably just A^5 if I am not mistaken?
C) Get the grand prize. If I am not mistaken, it should be (6! * 49!)/(55!), or 1 out of 28,989,675 ?
