To find the probability that a shuttlecuck will land in the service box find the area of the whole court and the area of the service box.
Area of whole court = AB x BD
(1.98 + 3.96 + 0.76) x 6.1 =
6.7 x 6.1 = 40.87 m^2
Area of service box JMLN = JN x NM
(3.96) x (5.18/2) = 10.2564 m^2
Probability = area of service box/area of whole court
10.2564/40.87 = .25095
I’m not sure if I’ve written this out correctly.520C959B-7363-4D53-9563-5EDC1DE1669A.png

The problem itself is invalid; you would have to assume a uniform distribution (that is, the shuttlecock is equally likely to land anywhere), which can't possibly be true even of the worst player. They should at least state their assumption.

But making that obviously-intended assumption, your answer would be right. Where are you unsure?

I just wanted to make sure the process and solution was correct
