I don't see anything wrong with your problem, maybe except the last part, about the direction of the resultant vector. But this is not a big issue really.

If you are using bearings, your answer should have been 187.5 degrees [(90-82.5)+180]

If not, then you could say the direction is 7.5 degrees west of south, or S7.5W (90-82.5)
