My business partner and I are building two houses. During the build we have had different levels of cash invested and our return will be in relation to our varying levels of investment at any given time.

40.29%55.55%44.45%
32.39%50.00%50.00%
10.16%61.76%38.24%
17.16%67.90%32.10%

So, for the first 40.29% of the time (357 days) the split was 55.55%/44.45%. I am Mouse, he is Slug. What, then, will be the final aggregated percentage split for him and me over the course of the entire project, i.e. how we split the final profit.

Thanks!

Hi There,

Well for The Mouse share, I would take the percentage of monetary share and multiply it by the time:

timeMouse
40.29% into55.55%= 22.38%
32.39% into
50.00%= 16.20%
10.16% into61.76%= 6.27%
17.16% into67.90%= 11.65%

then i would add them all up = 56.5%
So The Mouses share over the time is 56.5%
Doesn't seem to make sense though?
