Consider the following. Look here
\(f(x)=\begin{cases}-|x-3|+8 &\: x\ne 3\\\text{ Not Defined}&\: x= 3\end{cases}\)
What if change to:
\(f(x)=\begin{cases}-|x-3|+8 &\: x\ne 3\\10&\: x= 3\end{cases}\) ??
