Proving Trig Identities: sec x (1 + cos x) = 1 + sec x

i'm stuck on this one question.

secx(1+cosx) = 1+secx

what i've got is this:

1/cosx(1+cosx)= 1+ 1/cosx

i'm not sure if i'm even on the right track..
please help!

using the original equation, distribute the left side ... what do you get?
