Suppose instead that the town experiences quadratic growth of the form P=8t^2+Po
where t is the time in years from 2010.

a) Insert the value of that your group has decided upon into the equation. Use t^2 to type t-squared.
Answer: 2500

b) Fill in the following chart.

Year (t) Population (P)
t = 0
(2010) _______

t = 1
(2011)
t = 2
(2012)
t = 3
(2013)
t = 6
(2016)

Help me solve this step by step please I am really confused

You've been given an equation, and your group picked a value for the constant. Then you were given the t-values to plug into the equation you were given. If you have no idea how to proceed, then you need much more help, and more intensive, than we can possibly provide you here. (We can help you with specific exercises, but this assistance requires that you have at least some basic grasp of the underlying material. If you can't do plug-n-chug, then you don't have that very-necessary foundational background.) :shock:

Please seriously consider hiring a qualified tutor, local to your area, and setting aside a few hours a week (an hour or two a day would be best) for concentrated re-learning of the previous material. With diligent effort, you may be able to get caught up to your class inside a month. :idea:

Good luck! :D
