The problem is: x^2-xy+y^2=7(x-y)

4x-3y=6.

I am to solve the system. I started by solving for x=(6+3y)/4. I am to provide an answer for x1,y1 and x2/y2. I suppose for every value of x in the equation I am to substitute (6+3)/4. Then try to get the equation to = 0. From there I am lost.

Thanx

Much thanks to both Denis and JeffM for taking the time to answer my question. You both have helped.
