Question 3

Hi Emma. The four questions you've posted so far seem to cover different subjects. Are they from a homework assignment?

Have you added algebraic fractions (aka 'rational expressions') before? Similar to adding numeric fractions, we need a common denominator, before adding the numerators.

Please show any attempts that you tried. If you haven't been shown how to add expressions like Sn+Tn, please let us know, and we can help you get some online lessons and examples.

By the way, have you learned enough algebra to solve an equation like this one?

\[\frac{3n + 4}{3n + 4}·\frac{2n + 3}{n} + \frac{n}{n}·\frac{30}{3n + 4} = 3\]
